Hey guys! Just a friendly reminder that my first ever giveaway for Essie’s Winter 2012 Collection is ending tomorrow at 11:59 PM PST, so don’t forget to enter (here)! In case you needed any convincing, here are a couple of manis I did using Where’s My Chauffeur (with Essie’s Stroke of Brilliance on the accent nail) and Leading Lady. Enjoy! And happy holidays!! (Are any of you stressing like me?!! I STILL am not finishing Christmas shopping yet!! :/)

Oh boy, I’m SO far from finishing my Christmas shopping! The holiday nerves have definitely caught up with me, which honestly doesn’t help. The pretty manis have definitely brightened my mood up a little though :)

LOL aww really? Looks like we’re in the same boat, Sunny :P I am going to try and finish everything tomorrow (which I don’t know if I’ll have time to do because I have another review/giveaway coming up and I still need to take pictures of it!) *sigh*

I like the accent nails that you did on “where’s the chauffeur?” It looks very nice!

Thanks hon! Yeah, the accent nail thing is something that I recently gave a try and to my surprise, I think it looks kinda cool! (though it did take some getting used to…I felt kinda lopsided at first :P)

Lovely Becca! Especially Leading Lady ;)

Thanks Chris! I feel like Leading Lady doesn’t look half as beautiful in photos as it does in real-life. Do you feel that way too?

    Beautiful manis!

    • becca December 20, 2012 at 9:30 am #

      Thanks Emi!! <3

    Love the first picture ;-)

    • becca December 20, 2012 at 9:31 am #

Thanks Lily! They were taken real fast a few weeks ago but I didn’t have time to redo the whole thing and retake the photos so, there ya go :P

Ahhhhhh leading lady! I need it. I need a bunch of drugstore things lately! I should probably pay mine a visit.

    • becca December 20, 2012 at 10:31 pm #

LOL me too, but for some reason I’ve been super lazy and haven’t wanted to go. Maybe because I’m all pooped out from Christmas shopping :P

Ack, I am so late!! I wanted to enter the contest too but things really are crazy lately.

Wifey, your nails are beautiful. :D

im jealous of your perfectly oval nail beds ;p

    • becca December 21, 2012 at 5:15 pm #

Haha thanks hon! And TRUST ME, it takes A LOT of time and maintenance for my nails to look like this. For some reason, I have cuticles that grow like weeds and are always dry and flaking, so this is NOT a normal thing :P

  9. Makeup Morsels December 22, 2012 at 11:11 pm #

Leading Lady is beauuuutiful, I can never get enough of holiday reds. And I’m with fairytalesandcoffee up there, your nails are perfect! I tried maintaining oval nails once, gahh it’s so hard! So I switched to squoval. But I do miss my oval nails, and you just reminded me how pretty they can look :)

    • becca December 23, 2012 at 2:34 am #

Aww thanks, MM dear!! :D And actually, this nail shape was my attempt at squoval but I just find it so damn hard to maintain the shape first of all but also I find it easier to shape my thumb, pointer, and pinkie nails that way but the other 2 grow in a weird way so I have to grow them out extra long before I can shape them into a squoval shape (I really hope that made sense…:P). I always end up cutting them too short so oval it is! :P haha
